The ability to quickly come up with the right answers has brought you where you are today. The penalty has probably been that you rarely have the time to think deeply about where you have come from, where you want to go and how you are going to get there. 

Most senior technology leaders don’t have access to the sounding boards they need to address such issues.  I can help you identify and clarify these issues so that you can make concrete decisions about what actions you need to take to get what you want.

 
 

How I will work with you

We will meet in confidential one-on-one sessions over a six- to twelve-month period. Face-to-face sessions are preferred but telephone conferences are possible. Strategies may include:

  • Self assessment and/or assessment by survey of employees, employers or peers
  • Shadowing, where I observe you in your normal work settings
  • Issue clarification, in which I help you examine complex and interlinked ideas and prioritize them for action
  • Strategic career planning, in which current options and decisions are mapped against your career goals
  • Work-life balance, in which critical tensions are identified and practical decisions are made to balance these sometimes opposing forces.
